Simple enough reason, Twitter is down right now. Outages are being reported all over the Web. One might say I have a love/hate relationship with Twitter and right now it is leaning more to the latter...
I LOVE Jaiku. But there are two problems I have with it. One is Twitter is what I embedded into my site (poor planning on my part I admit) and the second is that I have dozens of friends/followers there and you're the only sign of life I've seen here. I will probably swap out my twitter tools for Jaiku though. Faster and more reliable.
Ok thanks for your answer. I agree with you ;) for the WordPress plugin easy to install on your blog, and you can, maybe, invite your friends on Jaïku when Twitter is down ;)
Plus, don't you think Jaïku widget on WP is more beautiful than twitter one ?
I also find Jaïku less anonymous than Twitter, maybe I'm wrong...

I agree that Jaiku's widget is infinitely more pretty. I don't think there is any competition there, I'm not sure about how anonymous either service is, really haven't though about that since both are connected to my site. I'm going to make the switch in a few though as Twitter is still down (though now they are admitting it). Thank you for the conversation as well!

Now you can love again Twitter, it's ok : ) But when Twitter is down you finf Jaïku, that's not enough for you ?
